Why Choose Cloudstone

Stain-Resistant Made on a production line instead of cut from a quarry, so sealing never applies and nothing etches it.
Priced Below the Veined Designs ₱5,900 per sqm against ₱8,000 for the veined Calacatta designs — ₱2,100 less, with the same material, thickness and durability.
Our Plainest White Ground Close to an unmarked white slab, which leaves deep cabinetry colors and the rest of the kitchen to do the talking.
Wipes Clean in Seconds Soap, water and one pass of a cloth. Marks let go of the stain-resistant surface instead of settling into it.

What Is Cloudstone Quartz?

Near-plain white, with the faintest weather in it.

Cloudstone is an engineered quartz in a bright, cool white, marked only by sparse gray wisps and soft cloudy flecks scattered across the surface. No vein structure runs through it and the markings point in no particular direction.

It is the quietest surface in our quartz range. From standing height it registers as a plain white counter, and the markings only resolve once you are close enough to go looking for them.

Pricing at our Cagayan de Oro yard puts it at ₱5,900 per square meter. That is not the cheapest white on the list — White Sapphire at ₱5,200 and Moonstone at ₱5,700 both come in under it. What it is, is the plain one, and it undercuts the veined Calacatta designs at ₱8,000 by ₱2,100 per square meter, which adds up across a full kitchen.

It is manufactured rather than quarried: about 93% crushed natural stone held together by roughly 7% resin. That build is what leaves it stain-resistant, keeps acids from etching it, and takes sealing out of the picture.

How Do You Clean Cloudstone Quartz?

Three habits, and the brightest surface we carry stays bright.

1

Clean as You Go

Turmeric, coffee and cooking oil sit up on the surface instead of soaking in, so a soft cloth clears almost every spill. A near-plain white shows residue faster than any patterned slab, which makes this the habit that matters most here.

2

Use Only Quartz Cleaner

Dish soap leaves a film that dulls the polish over months, and against a bright white that dullness turns up sooner. A pH-balanced quartz cleaner lifts residue off without attacking the resin binding the slab together.

3

Never Scour It

Scouring pads, steel wool and abrasive powders scuff a polish permanently. Reach for a plastic scraper when something has dried on and the surface comes through unmarked.

We keep specially-formulated stone care products on the shelf at our Cagayan de Oro yard, so nobody has to guess in a supermarket aisle.

How Do You Care for Cloudstone Quartz?

Sealing is off the table, which leaves three rules.

1

Always Use Trivets

Resin is the heat-sensitive part of the slab, so a pan taken straight off a burner can scorch or discolor it beyond repair. A scorch mark has nowhere to hide on white, and no workmanship warranty covers heat damage.

2

Keep It Out of Direct Sun

Long UV exposure yellows engineered quartz and there is no reversing it. That shift is at its most obvious on a white slab, so fit blinds where afternoon light lands, and keep quartz indoors.

3

Skip Harsh Chemicals

High-pH products, bleach and oven cleaner break the resin down over time. Wax is out too, since it accumulates and yellows against a cool white ground.

Is Cloudstone Quartz Good for Kitchen Countertops?

Yes on durability, with one honest warning about white.

Yes. Etching and staining both meet resistance in engineered quartz, so vinegar, lemon juice, wine and red sauce lift away instead of marking it. Spills stay on the surface rather than travelling into it.

Hardness is on your side as well. Quartz measures about 7 on the Mohs scale where marble measures 3, so it shrugs off the scratching that leaves a soft natural stone looking tired after a few years of cooking.

The warning is about appearance, not durability. A near-plain white conceals nothing, so crumbs and water marks show up in a way they would not on a veined slab. No damage is being done; it simply looks untidy sooner between wipes.

Heat is the real physical ceiling. Set a pan down straight from the burner and the resin scorches, which no polishing undoes. Trivets are not optional on any quartz, in a Cagayan de Oro kitchen or anywhere else.

Does Cloudstone Quartz Need Sealing?

Nothing to seal — the slab is manufactured, not quarried.

No. A sealer works by filling the pore structure inside quarried stone so liquid cannot travel through it. On engineered quartz it achieves nothing, and some formulations attack the resin.

At this end of the range the contrast with natural stone matters. A white marble wants sealing, etches wherever lemon juice lands and marks where a wine glass has stood, and on white marble every one of those marks is plainly visible. Cloudstone hands you the pale look with none of that upkeep.

Anyone selling you sealer for a quartz counter has either been misinformed or is moving stock you do not need. Cleaning is the entire maintenance routine.

Cloudstone vs Our Other White Quartz

One white family, separated by price and by how much you notice them.

Cloudstone is the plain one

Sparse gray wisps over bright cool white at ₱5,900 per sqm. Cheaper whites exist on the CDO shelf, White Sapphire and Moonstone among them, but nothing else we stock comes this close to an unmarked slab.

Aetherstorm is warmer, with real movement

Aetherstorm runs fine gray veins drifting over a warm off-white ground at ₱8,000 per sqm. Take it if a plain surface feels too bare and restraint still matters.

Cirrus Calacatta is the same restraint, dearer

Cirrus Calacatta is also near-plain, at ₱8,000 per sqm. It belongs to the Calacatta family, so take it when the rest of the specification is Calacatta and the line has to match.

Lightning Calacatta if you want the veining seen

Lightning Calacatta carries clearly drawn veining at ₱8,000 per sqm. It is the opposite decision to this one, and the right call where the counter is meant to be the feature.

What Colors Go With Cloudstone Quartz?

A plain white counter argues with nothing.

This is the most flexible surface on our shelves. A cool near-plain white carries no undertone worth fighting, so it will sit beneath almost any cabinetry color without a clash.

Deep colors gain the most. Navy, forest green and charcoal cabinetry all lift under a bright counter, and that contrast does the work a patterned slab would otherwise be asked to do.

All-white schemes carry the one risk. White cabinets over a white splashback and a white counter can tip from clean into clinical, so bring in timber, a colored island or a textured splashback to give the eye somewhere to rest.

Hardware is wide open. Matte black, chrome and brushed nickel all read cleanly against a cool white. Brass works too, though it warms a scheme more noticeably here than it would against a slab with warmth of its own.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Cloudstone real stone?

No, not the way a quarried slab is. This is engineered quartz, roughly 93% crushed natural stone bound with about 7% resin. Quartz itself is a natural mineral, but the slab comes off a production line rather than out of the ground, so nothing etches it and sealing never applies.

Why does a plain white quartz cost less than a veined one?

Pattern complexity, not a difference in material. Reproducing a convincing vein takes far more work on the production line than a near-plain ground does, which puts Cloudstone at ₱5,900 per sqm against ₱8,000 for the veined Calacatta designs. Thickness, hardness and durability are identical across both.

Does a plain white counter show dirt more?

Yes, in appearance though not in damage. Water marks, crumbs and cooking residue are all more visible against a near-plain white than against a veined or banded slab. Spills stay on top and wipe away easily, but it wants wiping more often to look its best.

Can you put a hot pan on Cloudstone quartz?

No. Direct heat scorches the resin holding the slab together and the mark will not polish out, which is especially unforgiving on white. Use trivets for anything coming off a burner or out of an oven.

Does Cloudstone quartz stain?

It resists staining, though nothing is immune. Spills stay up on the surface rather than soaking in. Coffee, turmeric and red wine all sit on top and wipe off, however alarming they look against the pale ground while they are there.

What thickness and finish does Cloudstone come in?

Slabs arrive 18 mm and polished, with natural unpolished edges. Whatever edge profile ends up on the finished counter is shaped during fabrication rather than something the slab turns up with.

Can Cloudstone quartz be used outdoors?

No. Sustained UV yellows engineered quartz permanently, and on a white slab that shift shows most clearly of all. For a lanai or an outdoor counter, granite is the material that holds its color in the sun.

Where can you buy Cloudstone quartz in Cagayan de Oro?
